David was inspired by the
work of Mucha as he designed this piece, which is 12' (3 m 60)
tall.
David included a touch of fantasy as he had the birds lifting the young lady's dress. She sits beneath the filigree arch contemplating a change in her life. The duo from China, Mr. Liu and Mr. Feng, won first place, while Team Holland, Jeroen Meijer and Martijn Rijerse, came third. Michel and Marc Lepire won People's Choice for their piece, Indian Spirit. We were all very impressed by the fine work of the Harrison volunteers and Sand organization.
