Our Dreams Hold Up the Sky As David and Peter were driving to Harrison on Labour Day, they were mentally composing a piece that evolved from the Dream Catcher of the previous week in Quebec. In this one, a little girl is dreaming of flying up into the sky... a soft counterpoint to the strong sunburst element. It was a fine surprise to receive the People's Choice award in such a strong field of sand sculptures. Dan and Kevin won First with their Fear No Evil piece. Martijn and Hanneke's dramatic Tango took Second and Artist's Choice, and Calixto and JP's archeological dig of a Mexican ruin was a strong third. There were many other great pieces this year, as it seems that Harrison just keeps getting better and better. Check out www.harrisand.org to see photos of all the winners.
