Dream Catcher

12 feet tall

This lovely design by David had a good combination of magic and tenderness, with chances to really focus on detail. The judges were particularly impressed with the leather thong wrapped around the exterior of the hoop.

Look closely at the foreground and you will see the boy dreaming of riding on the back of a Pegasus as he makes for the castle to rescue the princess.

Again, all the sculpting was done in a 22-hour time limit spread over three days.

We had a great time in Quebec City again and feel blessed to have had such good luck there.
