Peter left the Lubeck project
early, to participate in the Rembrandt theme show in Leiden, Holland. The coming
year (2006) is the 400th anniversary of Rembrandt's birth in this beautiful
Dutch city. Peter was asked to create a replica of the statue from Rembrandt
Square in Amsterdam. To see a variety of images from the making of the Rembrandt show, follow this link: http://www.haasvideo.nl/rembrandt/foto.asp |

The Jewish Bride When Peter finished the statue of Rembrandt, he worked with Kirke from Estonia to build a snow sculpture depicting the painting titled, "The Jewish Bride". There was a flea market next door to the Leiden freezer and Peter bought a bike for 30 euros. For 2 weeks he was able to cycle to various parts of town during lunch breaks, and the bike became quite popular with other sculptors wanting to do some sightseeing and run errands, as well. The best part was that, at the end, a member of the tech crew bought the bike for the same price, so everyone got a deal!
